What Thermi Delivers
Ducted RCAC
Thermi provdes ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning (RCAC) heating and cooling throughout the home, using standard vents and ductwork. Ducting can be run through the roof cavity, or for high star rating & PassivHaus builds, through typical HRV ductwork inside the building envelope.
Heat Pump Hot Water
Thermi meets all your hot water supply needs, running in a similar fashion to a hot water heat pump. However, because Thermi stores approx. 2-3 times the hot water of a typical heat pump, it can also be utilised to supply hydronic or under-floor heating, if you'd like to incorporate that into your build.
24/7 Fresh Air
All new Australian homes must be 7 stars+ in most States, and ACH limits means they need ventilation. To maintain cosy temperatures whilst keeping air fresh and smelling great, air exchange is required. Improve indoor air quality for your family, reduce energy bills and future proof your home with our inbuilt air exchange system.
Free Energy Storage!
Thermi is the first RCAC in Australia to come with free energy storage! Thermi stores energy in water, heating up or cooling down one of the two external tanks, for later use. This saves your family lots of money, by storing electricity during the solar day when it's cheap or free, and using it in the evenings when it's expensive.
Thermi Comfort System
The Thermi comfort system is comprised of an outdoor unit, indoor unit and interconnecting ductwork and piping. It can be controlled by the control module supplied with the unit or via an app on your mobile device.The outdoor unit, the roof vents and the controller are the only parts of the system that are visibile in your home. The outdoor unit is clad in Australian Colourbond steel, so you can choose a colour that blends in with your home.
